Katana Sports
Balm is
handmade with
the finest natural
ingredients.
Developed from
an ancient
Japanese recipe,
Katana (the
Japanese word
for Sword)
contains natural
herbs and oils
that have long
been known for
their medicinal
properties.
Katana Sports Balm was developed by a martial artist who after nearly 30 years in Jujitsu, was feeling the pain of several nagging injuries. (Read the story below). He found that more than just a warming sensation, the mix of ingredients aided in overall healing!

In 1990, after practicing jujitsu for 10 years, I met an old Japanese master who, along with teaching self
defense techniques, also taught oriental medicine. One of the best things he taught me was how to make
a heating and healing balm from natural oils and ingredients which originated in the Far East. When I
received the occasional bump or bruise in my practice, I would rub some of this balm on the sore spot, it
would heat up, and within a day or two, feel much better.
Its 18 years later, and my body has aged - but I still practice the grappling arts of jujitsu three or four
times a week. I have noticed, however that the bumps and bruises, strains and pains come more often
now, and take longer to heal. So I use the heating and healing balm vigorously throughout the week to
relieve pain and speed healing.
But more than the relief I get from Katana Sports Balm (developed from the old master's original recipe),
I want to tell you about the relief it brings to others.
Lets start with my students. Most of them use it several times a week to help relieve the pain of our
rigorous training. The smell of Katana often wafts through the dojo air. My partner has bum knees - so
she puts it on before long walks or exercise. A local lawyer tells me his wife uses it on her lower back
before bed. It heats up and helps her wake up rested and without a stiff lower back. My own mother
uses it on her sore neck, and has literally given away bottles to friends in her water aerobics class. All of
them find relief from stiffness and soreness from Katana Sports Balm. I think you will too!
Katana Sports Balm comes in a STICK and a ROLL-ON. The
STICK comes in original Cinnamon and Clove scent, and
the ROLL-ON comes in both Traditional, Lavender and
Sandalwood scents. More than scents though - the essential
oils in each are used for specific purposes. Cinnamon (also
knows as Cassia) has been used for centuries as a stimulant
and germicide. Clove is a powerful anti-inflamatory. This
combination helps decrease inflamation and brings blood
to the area for healing. The Lavender oil yields antiseptic
and anti-inflamatory properties as well as anti-itch qualities.
Lavendar is also known to aid in relaxation and sleep.
Sandalwood has meditative qualities.
Katana Sports Balm works like magic. Through my own experience, and the
experiences of many Katana users - the balm "knows" when and how to work on your
specific strain, sprain, bruise or soreness. When put on an area that has no injury -
most people feel almost nothing. When put on a relatively fresh injury, Katana often
feels cool. When put on an older or nagging injury or sore spot, Katana heats up.
The old Japanese masters knew these properties, and used a similar formula on the
battlefield, and in their bone-setting and anma (therapeutic massage) businesses. Try
Katana Sports Balm and see how it works to relieve your pain.
